Cosplay Photoshoot Glasgow - March 8th & 9th

Alasdair Watson Photography (AWP) agrees to the following upon payment of the above invoice;

• I will arrange a cool location to match your Cosplay, and send you a meeting time and place.

• I will take you through our photoshoot for up to 45 minutes until we get all the shots we like.

• I will do my best to bring your character out and help you with posing, acting, and looking great.

• While the capture of no individual image can be guaranteed, I will endeavour to create and capture any requested shots as discussed, and I will bring my own ideas for awesome photos to create too. AWP cannot be held responsible for poor image coverage due to restrictions, malfunctions, errors, or conditions beyond his control.

• I will then edit our photos according to my own style, adding special effects to match your Cosplay/story.

• I will deliver a selection of fully edited photos to you within a few weeks of the shoot, via online gallery, from which images can be shared, downloaded, and prints purchased.

• I will take every possible step to ensure a safe shoot, however both parties acknowledge that shoots on location present numerous potential risks to participants and property. Participants must acknowledge the need to understand and respect their surroundings, behave/move around carefully, and assume responsibility for their own safety and wellbeing.

• Participants must assume responsibility for the use of any props, replicas, physical effects, pyrotechnics, smoke bombs, or other items brought to the shoot. AWP cannot be held liable for any damage or injury caused by such items/effects.

• I will always treat others with respect and friendship, and expect the same in return. Abuse or aggression from any party will not be tolerated and may result in suspension of coverage.

• Shooting will only take place in adherence with national and local Coronavirus restrictions and guidelines.

• Upon receipt of payment, I will reserve the time and date agreed upon and will not agree to any other reservations. As such, the fee is non-refundable within two weeks of original shoot date.

• Payment of the above fee signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions, and secures your shoot date.

• Both parties agree to abide by the below image use agreement.

• In the unlikely event I am unable to attend on the agreed upon shoot date, I will make every effort to rearrange for another shoot date or refund your fee.

• I will take every possible step to protect images from loss, theft, or destruction beyond my control. In the unlikely event of data loss, I will arrange for restaging of photos with you.

• I may share the photos on my social media and website to let my followers see our awesome work, and where possible I will always include credit/links to your profile/site.

• In return, you agree to credit AWP alongside all image usage, including link to www.Alasdair.Photography and/or the relevant social media profile tag: instagram.com/Alasdair_Watson twitter.com/AlasdairW facebook.com/AlasdairWatsonPhotography

Image Use Licence Agreement:

Please read the licence agreement found herein, to ensure legal use of images from AWP, who retains copyright of the Image(s), including the right to publish and licence images, and the likeness of those captured in them, for portfolio, promotional, and other editorial and commercial purposes. 

You, the Licensee, may crop the Image(s) in connection with the below permitted uses where necessary, but must avoid filters and other effects. Altering/filtering the images may give a false or detrimental impression of my work. If further edits are desired/required, please discuss this with AWP.

License 

AWP grants the Licensee a worldwide, perpetual right to transmit and display, in whole or in part, the agreed upon image(s) in relation to the shoot(s) detailed above, subject to the following; 

Permitted Uses: 

• Any editorial applications, such as blogs and social media.

• Any other uses approved by AWP.

Restrictions on Use: 

Licensee may not 

• Sublicense, sell, or transfer any of the rights under this Agreement. 

• Sell or commercially distribute the Image(s) electronically or in print reproductions.

• Use any licensed Image in a defamatory, libellous, misinformational, or otherwise illegal manner.

• Use the licensed image(s) in any way not permitted above or in writing by AWP.

Entire Contract 

• This agreement contains all the terms of the licence agreement and no terms or conditions may be added or deleted unless agreed by all parties.
