Art School
These photozines are a dream-like exploration of empty paint-drenched Art studios, questioning where I belong, and whether I should return to study.
Sneaking around these two arts schools, is the feeling we get in these places deja vu for the school classrooms we created in before, or deja reve for the classrooms we might one day study in?
Each zine is bound in a faux school jotter, 35mm photos on recycled paper, with my poetry hand-written to order and evolving with each copy finished, as I try to find the answer to these paint-splattered futures.
Volume One - Leith School of Art. One night I fell in love with all the paint splatters which cover every surface here - imagining all the wonderful art that caused them, turning this tiny ex-church into a work of art in itself. 28pp, 12cm x 12cm
Volume Two - Glasgow School of Art. Sneaking around GSA's Stow building post-degree show, soaking up the ghosts of projects past and futures beginning, imagining what it would be like to study here. 32pp, 12cm x 12cm
