Glasgow’s Autumn Photo Book
“It feels more than just a collection of beautiful photos - each one feels like a memory. Like digging through your grannies photo albums and being transported back in time.”
“Made me feel very nostalgic for a lot of my old haunts…... It's rare that I see a portrait street photography book, but you make it work really well.”
This 50 page zine is a combination of street photography, sunsets, pishin rain, cats, gingers, pumpkins, and all the leaves turning. I set out to capture simply the feeling of Autumn, impermanence, and imperfection - imagine the transformation from Summer into Winter happened over a single day; that's what you'll find in this wee book.
All images are shot on 35mm with my 1960s Olympus camera, and cover the hazy, grainy glory of the city centre, west end, south side - even stretching as far as Cuningar in the east and Foxbar in the west.
